The Crossing

I spent another morning waiting around at Greenock Sheriff Court. After more delays we were all sent home and told to call the Jury Helpline after 5.30pm. I have now called the helpline and I am not required to attend tomorrow and my Jury Service is now over.

On the way home this afternoon I drove along the Cloch Road and took this shot of the Western Ferries, Sound of Seil as she made her way across to Hunter's Quay near Dunoon.

The Sound of Seil was built in the UK by Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited of Birkenhead and entered service in October 2013. She was designed, built and Classed to Lloyd's Register of Shipping requirements, with an emphasis on truly "green" credentials that support minimal use of hazardous materials, and which optimise propulsive efficiency throughout the service life of the vessels by the efficient matching of the hull design to the propulsion package.

Playing an important Curling match tonight which we need to win to keep our chances of winning the league and getting promotion.
Update: We won 9-3, so next week we need to beat the league leaders, who are currently 2 points ahead of us.
