The Meeting Point
This is the point where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal meets the River Severn after having dropped down, via a series of locks, three tiers from the Stourport Basin, which is just a couple of hundred metres or so behind 'me' (i.e. the photographer).
You've 'met' parts of this canal twice already this week (23rd and 26th), at two locations in Kidderminster. This image, as the previous paragraph suggests, is at Stourport-on-Severn.
It's fortuitous that the two young ladies appeared at this moment, apparently on their way home from school. Fortuitous because it often helps to have a human (or animal) subject in a general scene such as this.
