Real Italian food

I was planning on taking some nice beach shots but was too exhausted from a 3 dive day so instead here is a pepper grinder to commerate eating spaghetti meatballs with a savoury tomato sauce that had no sugar in (believe me that is something to shout about out here!).

The deep dive was surprisingly like diving in shallow water, just slightly more effort to breathe in. The book describes you descending on a line with a risk of disorientation, going half crazy from narcosis and not being able to see anything and almost freezing to death. If however you do your deep dive in 28C crystal clear water off Koh Phi Phi and use a reef instead of a line for reference it's just excellent.  It also helps the nerves to have an instructor (Rod) who has done over 6000 dives and usually trains other instructors.

I also did a peak performance bouyancy dive (I can now hover motionless upside down) and an underwater naturalist dive. I saw my first nudibranch, moray eels, massive pufferfish mating, lots of lovely Nemos and most exciting for me, a peacock mantis shrimp.
