The sun tries to break through
It was cold at home this morning, after a dry southerly. We put the kayak on the car, and headed for Lake Pearson, expecting the southerly to have had less impact inland. It felt even colder than at home, though, so we stopped at Castle Hill on the way to allow the sun a little more time to break through the thick clouds and raise the temperature. This is taken from Spittle Hill.
It did warm up nicely, later, and we had a pleasant paddle around the lake.
