Dusk on Brännarvägen

The days are getting longer.  This was taken at about 5:45 and there was still a fair amount of light in the sky.  There are points one notices in the year and leaving work in daylight is one of them, showing us the days really are getting longer.
Being warm weather for February it’s slightly above freezing and that shininess is water but two hours later it was ice.  Drivers were taking it easy.
Every time it snows gravel is laid on the pavement and now the snow has all melted away in town the path is covered in a thick layer of gravel.  When the “real” spring arrives in April it will all be hoovered away.
