Today was a training day, which meant I got to see the place I raise money for. It's a children's hospice in the countryside near Winchester. A local landowner was kind enough to donate part of the family estate to enable the hospice to be built; so it's a beautiful setting, though a bit out in the wilds.
Unfortunately it wasn't possible to have a look round, or take a decent photograph, as there are massive building works going on. The dragonfly is a signal to staff coming on duty. A child has just died and they may meet a bereaved family. But it's a happy place; some of the children visit for years of respite care before they die, and the staff obviously love working there.
