An early morning up to the hospital to see the psychiatrist. My bloods came back and the lithium is now in the therapeutic range so is now working. He has upped the dose , so now on 800mg, so it can be even more therapeutic.
He then announces that I will be 'moving on' which basically means that they are discharging me. I got a shock that I didn't know what to say. I am not ready to be discharged, I still need the support. Was so hard to keep it together, I just wanted out. I will have one more appointment with the nurses and 1 more with the psychiatrist, then that's it.
From then on I will see a psychiatrist every 3months at Inchkeith House.
Came home and lay on the sofa until my counselling appointment; which was a horrible one. Some appointments I come out feeling a benefit, others I don't.
