Hearts & minds

A reasonably early get up shook off any ill feeling & I had a really lovely out & about day. Ian had Ferguson until later so I ended up having most of the day to myself & some nice chatty time with lots of different people.
Rachel, in my favourite paint shop...30+ mins....the woman in a bra shop...45+ mins
Ruth...70+ mins....a Swedish lady in another shop...40+ mins...
Then I went to a coffee shop for about half an hour or so & chatted there too!

I managed to divert myself from most references to Valentines Day, although my cynicism of past years has dissolved. As much as it is "commercial", I realise it's just another nice opportunity to declare your feelings for the person you love & care about... (also, even if you are just 6 years old)
I thought quite a bit about a certain someone today. I'd like to think upon his return tomorrow, he will see the "old" me back, not the depressed, grumpy, emotionally troubled one he left 4 months ago! ....And I can deliver him the tokens of love I have created without too much awkwardness.
