This and That

My lunchtime venue today was This and That, a basic Manchester Asian curry cafe serving "rice and three" for under a fiver (and under £4 if you're veggie). If you don't know where it is it can be hard to find as it's down a murky narrow alley, but serves delicious home cooked food for those in a hurry, although it is always busy at lunchtimes (all blokes strangely). It brought back memories of student haunts like the Plaza on Upper Brooke St, with its Formica tables, plastic chairs, random crockery and strip lighting. The staff are always cheery and it's that old cliche, a hidden gem.
