First Lamb

Ted went to Playschool this morning and as Rob has now stopped work (on terminal leave as retirement approaches!) we found ourselves child-free for the first time in... Well, AGES! We decided to go for a long walk. We used to walk a lot before we had Ted but now he's at an age where he a) can't walk that far, b) can't walk at our speed and c) won't walk in the direction we want, so our walks are generally pretty short. We did a 2-hour circuit up the valley and had intended to stop at a pub on the way back... But it didn't open until 12 so we ended up coming hone for coffee and cake instead! As we walked back into Berwick St John we saw this sheep with her lamb, the first lamb I've seen this year. Spring must be on the way!
