Isolation
This is what remains of the Glenorchy Isolation hospital in Dalmally in Argyll, built by a company of architects from Renfrew who speciialised in such buildings in 1898.
Went on a run with fellow hobbit short lady. We took some shots of the River Orchy, long exposures though each time I looked at my fellow blipper my heart was in my mouth as she was up on some slippery precipice with her triffid tripod. Neither of us can swim so one wrong slip and we would have both been history!
From there we motored up to a nice viewpoint near Glencoe where we parked the van and made tea & guzzled cream eclairs. After that we drove onwards & upwards past the iconic Black Rock to the ski tows & plootered about there. I saw a van identical to my own, same colour, same year, how cool was that. While I crept over to it to peer inside, my fellow blipper ran off to watch the handsome dudes snowboarders. Then we stopped at Black Rock! and fired off some shots of this iconic building then wound our way back stopping at the old infectious disease hospital in Dalmally along with the octagonal church that is there.
I like this old crumbling building so snapped away on it. The rest of my shots can be found on my flicker site at some point .
A good day in all, weather a bit ropey but hey we had fun!
