Black and White

We went to Kendal museum this morning which is a strange mixture of geological discoveries, Victorian taxidermy and stuff about Alfred Wainwright! However in the basement we discovered an art exhibition by the students at Kendal college who are studying foundation art and design. We really enjoyed looking at the exhibits and I particularly liked this one by Emily Armistead.

We climbed up through the drizzle to Kendal castle before taking refuge in a cosy cafe with a log fire.
