Summer time, and the living....

Walking home from town via Bellevue, I was trying to capture the atmosphere we enjoy so very briefly in Edinburgh of a balmy, easy-living summer evening at the end of a hot day.

I thought the dormer windows flung wide to capture the breeze and let the built-up heat of the day escape might do. It was only afterwards that I spotted the man in shirt sleeves walking home from his office job in the glow of late sun.
