Jeanie Dean Dessert by Billy Stevenson
"Summer cruises on the Clyde were a popular pastime in Scotland during much of the 20th Century. They gave people from Glasgow and the other industrial towns of the West of Scotland a chance to visit the countryside. The Jeanie Deans, one of the fleet of Clyde paddle steamers, was in service from the 1930’s to 1960’s. The name comes from a character in a Walter Scott novel."
And here we have history on a plate: yum!!
