Ad Astra

This afternoon I picked up my new car.

The good old Seat has done nearly 40,000 km in the past year, served me very well indeed, but needed to be replaced with a younger and more energetic model.

Don't we all?

We found an Astra in a local garage in Estepona that seemed to fit the bill. I must be getting old, as in years gone by, I would never have considered one of these, but she looks good, is pretty frugal on petrol and comes with enough techno bells and whistles to keep me happy.

And the biggest plus of all?

Over here you can call her an Opel!
