Red Wing Blackbird

I had some bald eagle photos that tempted me to blip them.....but this cute red wing blackbird became my choice. I really liked the grass seed heads all around him and that was why I picked this shot. 

I had a wonderful day watching our eagle pair flying and sitting near the nest that needs lots of repair; we are officially concerned that they are lazy and not being responsible! That nest will NOT make a good place to sit on eggs, let along be a safe playpen for a baby. I wonder how much longer they have before they have to give this their immediate attention.

I even called fellow blipper, Musing, to come see the eagles and she helped me take a few additional photos and then she invited me to her house. I had so much fun watching as she put a few of my photos into her computer and adjusted them in the Lightroom program. But it was even more exciting to see her amazing shots of a bald eagle flying with a fish in his talons. I hope she blips it today.
