Ruddy

The icy river has now taken its tole on the river ducks. Today when the wind came around SW the big waves broke up the ice and drove it on shore. When it came it brought little frozen Ruddy ducks with it. I suppose they got caught up in it last week when they were swimming in circles trying to keep a spot of water open. Sad,  but I guess it is the circle of life. The foxes and buzzards are probably looking for a meal to survive on also.
