Sunny sunflower

Do love sunflowers, so summery and vibrant. The garden over the road has a patch that is just opening up, bright deep yellows, soft canary yellow and these rather lovely rusty colours. 
A busy day making two batches of plum sauce....an absolute favourite around here made with Grandma Hull's very old recipe. The grandies are getting a taste for it too.
