The Birch...
I really love the birch tree closest to the house. It's a lovely tree, the birds dart in, out and all about it, and provides nice dappled shade in the summer. However, it's branches are in the way of most shots I'd love to take of the inlet. Today's blip is a good example of this. I noticed the glimmer path of the setting sun nearly exactly lined up with the fir as I stood at the balcony to the loft. I ran downstairs to capture the shot from below the birch branches, but the angle was not the same. So...back up and here's the result with the birchy branches included.
Maybe if I had mad photoshop skills...
