Blue Light

A late afternoon journey up to London today for an evening client meeting. My arrival at Old Street was timed with dusk and I was mesmerised by the blue sky which seemed to cast a blue-ish hue over the busy London traffic and pedestrians rushing by.

To my surprise I saw this blue-lit church as I walked down Old Street to the meeting and I wondered, why blue? I must ask my author friend David Long whose latest book Bizaare London talks about the more unusual historical places around our capital city.

A short blip this evening after rather a long day as I put the kettle on to think about 'futurology' (one of the themes in the meeting) and the significance of a blue-lit church...
