Tunnel (York - Day 3)

Up and out early-ish, and walked in to town to Betty's teahouse for breakfast, which had been recommended to us by our neighbour. It was pretty awesome, and we were sure to stock up on Fat Rascals in the shop before leaving.

After that, we had a wee wander round the market, and then headed to the York Chocolate Story, where we found out all about York's history of chocolate making, and got to make some chocolate of our own.

We were going to try and head to the York Dungeon, but, after reading some of the reviews online, we decided it might be a bit too scary for the kids, and so headed to the Yorkshire Museum instead. As usual, the kids were more interested with what was in the gift shop than what was in the actual museum, and ended up with a wooden sword and shield each.

Rather than walk back home then walk all the way back in for dinner, we decided to kill some time by going on the York Boat Cruise. We were all pretty hungry after that, so it was off to Cosmos for all you can eat buffet, before waddling home.
