The pin cushion

Today I met this guy. He's a cloakroom manager for an event company. I noticed his well-used pin cushion - it looked mismatched to both him and the environment. He told me that it was his Grandmother's and had been first used by her in 1903. He has never used another since she gave it to him years ago.
