Mayfair, London

Today I decided to start a new project , which is to take two walks per month from my book of 'London's Hidden Walks', and today's choice was Mayfair . Starting at the statue of Eros, I walked along Piccadilly to Albany , but just had to take a stroll through the Burlington Arcade , which is my blip for today . I could have posted so many interesting photos of things I spotted during the day , but I quite like the view through the Arcade . The shops through here are fascinating, to say the least ! The stores in Old Bond Street were extremely tempting ! - however , I settled for a few treats in Fortnum & Masons , which were more affordable ! Ended the day with a walk around Chinatown , which was still looking very festive after their recent New Year celebrations . I have certainly learnt a lot today , and now looking forward to my next walk in a couple of weeks , which will be exploring Fitzrovia & Bloomsbury .
