Found some colour

While on a snowshoe walk today, I found these beautiful branches, probably sumach, bright red against the black and grey landscape. The whole walk, which was very noisy in my snowshoes on crunch frozen snow, my neighbour's dog was barking and barking and barking at me. Sound seemed to travel through the brilliant frozen silence so easily.
