Elk Point Inn

It was certainly a stretch to call this an Inn. I stayed in this motel for 5 nights. The owner told me that three weeks before, every room was filled with oil workers. The first night I was there, only 4 rooms were filled. 1000 people lost their jobs in Alberta in a four week period in late January, early February, my son one of them. We had a lot of difficult business to take care of while I was in this Inn, but I was thankful to have a place to stay in Elk Point. I will also be thankful if I never have to go back there.
