The Lifeboat Shed

Not normally the prettiest of buildings the lifeboat shed looked lovely tonight bathed in the setting sunshine. Inchcape the current AWL (All Weather Lifeboat) can be seen through the top windows. Inchcape is the last of the Scottish slipway launching lifeboats although she is due to be replaced by one of the brand new Shannon class boats in future. This not only means a new lifeboat but also a new lifeboat station to house the new class of boat.
