Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

Lovely time with the Tuesday class in Kilmacolm this morning then briskly into town to meet with the Glasgow Group of the Dystonia Society. A day full of meeting with brave and generous people. I have such a great job.

I could get used to this business of being chauffeured around.  I like saying, 'Excuse me a moment, while I call for my driver.' Then, if I hadn't been waiting for him by the kerb side I would have missed these reflections.  Truth to tell, I had never intended to drive to Bath Street  - I always use public transport into the city - but the man wanted to wear his peaked cap.
