Watch that first step. It is a duzzy!!!

Felt trapped in the condo today.  Sunday evening it had rained and I had  gotten soaked.  Yesterday, everything was covered in ice.  The sun came out just before noon so it was time to go for a long walk.  Buddy could not have agreed more.  I am going to get back into shape just keeping up with him.  He has taken to the leash well.  He probably soon will not need a leash except Fort Worth has a leash law.  Don't want Buddy to run away or get run over by one of the cars zooming past.

We went to the  Fort Worth Water Gardens.  The sun was out and the temperatures were several degrees above freezing.  The ice had melted off all surfaces that were directly on the ground.  Those suspended in air like bridges or steps still had ice.  Here are the steps leading down to the water.  Taking the express to the pond at the bottom would have been so easy today.
