Love life...

Plates this evening,  even though the two I have been going with decided a hair cut and a trip out for tea suited them better.

Home now for a curry and a G&T.

Our services manager came to find me to let me know she's decided to retire....I'm  gutted to say the least.  They won't be replacing her (more money saving) and it seems very likely that after a re shuffle of the level above me, We will end up with not the kind of managers I'd respect /want.  Bad sad times.  I did well not to cry when she told me...I did say "you can't  do that?!" "You can't leave us?"... she's 55 this year, a very good manager...and it's a crying shame no one seems to have tried to stop her.....been in shock most of day.
