Graham Moore - Oscar Winner
Oscar for writing the best adapted screenplay for the film "The Imitation Game" featuring the mathematician Alan Turing and his code breaking feats at Bletchley Park in WW2 and who committed suicide after the war.
Graham revealed in his speech that he himself had attempted suicide at 16 years and dedicated his triumph to "that kid out there who feels that he or she doesn't fit in anywhere" His message is important at a time when suicide and self-harm among young people is reaching epidemic proportions
My blip is of a remembrance tree in Paisley town centre where during a recent ceremony messages were attached in memory of loved ones now gone
The plaque reads "In loving memory of those who have taken their own lives
gone but not forgotten"
