"Can't reach ... !"

This is almost a "Where's Flash?" blip; even more "Where's the ball, Flash?" Flash has the idea that if she rounds up the ball (in this case two tennis balls linked with a rope - just visible as two yellow dots about ten feet from her snout) and drops a few feet away from where she's picked it up, I will tramp to wherever she's dumped it to throw it for her again. Try as I might, I can't get her to bring it to me.

It was a very gloomy, wet and windy morning, and early-ish, hence the gloomy, wet and windy image. Our spirits were high though!
