This is what has been done to the lovely willow next to Fye bridge. You can see at before how it used to look.
I was tempted to call this raging ( as in Dylan Thomas :  "rage rage against the dying of the light" ) , but, no doubt I'm projecting ( as ever ) and it's me that's raging.
