Coloured Pencil Challenge

No. 26/36  -  I tried a similar thing a while back with a rising helix but it didn't work.  I actually built this earlier yesterday and realised that it has lots of possibilities, so you may well see this tomorrow as well, provided I manage to leave it standing.  It is incredibly perilous as the pencils seem to have very irregular surfaces and shift at the slightest provocation. I'm hoping there is a lot of light on Wednesday as I saw promise of a great reflection and shadow.  Failing that there are loads of other options from this one set up.  I may even chance my arm and build it a little higher although that would be tempting fate I think.
