Back to the table ...

Today was so foul that the only outdoor photo I took was a rain-smeared view of waves battering the East Bay promenade - and even that was taken through a window as I was too wet to get my phone out of my pocket when I went out.

So it's back to food - tonight's dinner. Fried chicken with za'atar, ratatouille left over from yesterday and therefore even better, and freekeh pilaff topped with garlic and lemon yogurt and toasted pine nuts. Excellent. 

But I wish the weather would stop being so ... dramatic.
