Munich underground: 59/100 Milbertshofen

Today's entry in my strictly alphabetical Munich underground series is the last missing station of the northern extension of the U2 line: Milbertshofen underground station. It was opened in 1993 together with the stops at Frankfurter Ring, Am Hart, Harthof, and Dülferstraße. Those stations all share a similar design with clear geometrical lines, and blue and grey colours - although the stop at Dülferstraße (which was the terminus of the U2 until Hasenbergl and Feldmoching stations opened in 1996) is the odd one out. Especially Harthof station is very similar to Milbertshofen.

The outstanding feature of Milbertshofen station is the light design with "dancing" luminescent tubes.
