'Penny's Pink'

Wild, windy and wet today.....no chance to walk anywhere, so have been catching up on reading. Just finished a really good book called 'Survivor' by Lesley Pearse...starts in NZ. Very good read..

This new Hellebore Penny's Pink looks like a tough cookie. P bought me it at Nat.Trust for Valentine's Day (much prefer it to hothouse Roses) . I haven't been able to plant it yet...it's standing up to all the wind and rain over the past few days. She has a teardrop in her eye.

Thinking of my daughter today who has had an operation...and is spending the night in hospital.
