Wow! New hairstyle!

This is Elaine's new hairstyle!! I didn't get any closer, because she charges you for a photo of her...

I had to leave the flat a bit earlier today because I needed to go to the cake shop to get a tin for a cake I'm making for next Monday. The weather by then was lovely and sunny although a bit cold and windy. Work was reasonably quiet.

After work I met a friend of mine to talk about her wedding cake. She'd seen and tasted my cakes, so she thought of me for the job, which was nice. Me being a numpty, half way through our conversation, I realized I had forgotten my tin at work. My friend was kind enought to walk with me all the way up to work, so I could get my tin before they closed. By then, the weather had turned rather nasty, freezing cold, rainy and windy.

The other day I learned an expression used in here: "to look windswept and interesting". Well, this is how I look when the weather is like this, and my hair looks closer to Elaine's new hairstyle without the flowers...

Anyway... My friend is happy for me to go ahead with the cake, but the wedding will be in a year's time, so there's still time! :)

Off tomorrow, but I've got a busy day ahead with one thing and another.
