Wave-Hopping

The sun finally found a couple of breaks in the clouds this afternoon but generally it has been pretty miserable.

This small flock of black-headed gulls were hanging around where the waves were breaking and fluttering into the air as each one passed. Suddenly, they decided they had had enough and soared away. Nothing obvious that spooked them.
