Like Christmas or My Birthday

I met my friend Joanne at Little Red Mitten this morning. She had to pick out some new yarn for weaving a scarf on her new loom. 
I had to pick up my prize that I won in a draw last week. 
What a fabulous gift bag it was too!
I love the mohair/silk and am sure I will be making a gorgeous shawl or wrap of some kind with it!
The worsted weight will be perfect for mitts or a hat. Mitts I think!
Then Joanne and I went out for lunch.
Nice weekend off. 
Back to work tomorrow.
