Weighing up the options

So today was my first 'proper' day at work. I won't mention the company I now work for as I can see myself moaning about the incompetent staff I have to deal with over the next few days.

For the last 4 years I have worked in catering and this is no different. However today was the first time I have had to deal with my staff sitting on a side that is used to prep the customers orders. Oh my god. I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with a team of 9 that have had no manager since October but I'm going to give it a good go.
I told them all today I wasn't there to make friends so let's see how many of them are still working there in a month....
