restauration of the old shutters

I live in a 250 years old house. The building stays under protection. The face of the building needs a renovation. I decided to start with the restauration of the old shutters today. We were waiting for a long time because we were not sure about changing the colour. It's quite tricky to get the permission for the old house. 
The first step, taking the colour away, will be done by a specialist. The rest will be my duty. I've started with 6 shutters out of 34.
