seaside sweetness

For me, a blissfully lazy morning while Mr B ran round after our noisy rabble and then we headed to the Rashleigh Inn on Polkerris beach and ate a pub lunch watching the sky go from moody to bright and back again while the sea battered the shore. Afterwards a walk to Readymoney, a mooch round Fowey's quiet shops with Vic and home to find the girl singing along to The Sound of Music. Eve has an insatiable appetite for musicals - I was glad to avoid sitting through Piers Brosnan's colourful vocal performance in Mamma Mia again, Eve LOVES that film. Both children were spark out by 8pm.... cue glass of wine, book, fire.
