No pogonophobia* here

A chance encounter with Laurie meant a brief opportunity to catch up and to push my luck by asking for a photograph. The opportunity to snap a fine example of the full beard is not to be sniffed at. It has got a lot whiter since I first met him over thirty years ago but you have to admire its staying power.

Laurie is one of the founders of Kingdom Housing Association Limited and is its Vice Chair. He is a retired Director with Scottish Council for Single Homeless,, a Member of the Polmont Young Offenders Institution Visiting Committee, a Member of Castlerock Edinvar Housing Association and a Member of Hillcrest Housing Association. Whenever I see him he always reminds me that he still has the reports which I did illustrations for way back in the 1980s. Thankfully, they are hidden away in his loft.
