Liliya's 11th birthday

Lovely Liliya was 11 today. She got Little Women and The Secret Garden amongst other things. She loves reading and considering she speaks French (first language and English second language and can get by in Russian) I feel definitely inferior! Liliya and I had a lovely walk around the lanes round their house in Vaucluse and even took off our jackets and enjoyed the warm sun and saw the top of Mont Ventoux. Came home to cake covered In raspberries and squirty cream and Liliya chose fish fingers and chips for her birthday meal!!!! I love it when she has experienced French and Russian cuisine and chooses fish fingers and chips! Of course that is what I did. Happy Birthday Liliya.
