Using my loaf

For Christmas, I got my wife a bread making machine. To be honest, I was half expecting to spend the holiday period in A&E getting it surgically extracted from the side of my head, but it turned out that she was delighted and has now become quite obsessed with baking bread on a daily basis.

This is one of today's. A delicious sun-dried tomato and cheese wholemeal loaf. It's missing the bit at the end because I have a very important quality control role to play in the baking process.

The whole scenario with the bread maker turned out much better than I could have planned. We even buy flour by the sack now, which is a bit odd. (And a bit annoying for our postman, since we get it delivered from Amazon!)
