Beaver Lodge

The beavers are moving house or maybe the teenagers are leaving home. Whatever it is they are building a new lodge in the loch.

The mound that you can see here is the beginning of their house which is made of mud and sticks.

I am hoping to bring you a beaver shot this year. I have seen them a few times but always a little far away for photography.

Weather terrible today, freezing cold, wet and sleaty.
