between showers

Decided to do my food shop in Keswick today. A walk, followed by coffee and scone then a trip round the supermarket sounded good. I didn’t get many photos, but this with a little snow on the fells and the ducks reluctant to take to the water seems to sum the weather up. 

The journey there was on slushy roads, the walk was pleasant between the frequent hail showers and the planned coffee and scone turned into coffee and sausage bun which seemed much better for a cold day and cost only a little more than the scone.
