Our Anniversary Dinner at the Chef's Table

For our 47th Wedding Anniversar we ate at the Chef's Table. A six course meal with a wine pour with each course! We started with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and a deviled egg with caviar.
First Course: HEARTS OF PALM Salad, Avocado, Tomato, Champagne Vinaigrette with Chateau La Nerthe, Blanc. chateau elf-du-PAPE, Rhone, France.
Second Course: SWEET PEA SOUP, Truffle Poached Egg, Nueske Bacon with Mer Soliel, Chardonnay, Santa Lucia Highlands, California.
Third Course: BUTTER POACHED LOBSTER, Caviar Buree Blanc (substitution for Shellfish Allergy was Grilled Branzino) with William Fevre Chablis 1er Cru, Chardonnay, Burgundy, France.
Fourth Course: BRAISED SHORT RIB RAVIOLI, Horseradish Cream, Veal Glaze with La Vite "Lucente", Sangiovese a/Merlot, Toscany, Italy.
Fifth Course: PRIME BEEF TENDERLOIN, Morel Mushroom, Smoked Garlic-Potato Purée with Caymus, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California
Sixth Course: CHOCOLATE SABOTAGE, Duo of Chocolate Mousse, Ganache, Chocolate Lava Cake with a Dessert Martini - Lemon Ginger cheesecake!

In the photo, our Sommelier is getting Reidel wineglasses for the next course. The Chef's Table is a Restaurant, a small enclave, within the Chop's Grille on the Quantum of the Seas. The Table is limited to 16-Persons and the Sommelier and Waiter, as well as the Chef, present the Courses.
