Newborn

A sunny start to the day but still cold.  By lunchtime it had clouded over with a few showers and more showers since.

Working on the museum desk again today and it's been a fairly steady day with the schools closed for the long weekend.  There has also been quite a few tourists about today, which always gets me, why not come here in the summer when the weather is warmer and the wildlife flourishing?  Each to their own :)
Off to visit granny after tea and then for a swim at the Scalloway pool before heading to the pub to work the night away.

To keep the world at balance after yesterday's Blip, here's a newborn calf :)  Sadly her twin died yesterday shortly after birth but she's a strong peerie calf.  She was busy cleaning herself when I came in with mother, and mother wasn't too happy to see me but she let take a few photos :)  Taken at Berry Farm, Scalloway.
