New body - old lens
No birds about this afternoon so I didn't use the new lens (except as a boring test shot) but the 18-70mm standard just to get the feel of the new body. Well, things have changed in the 8 years since I got the first DSLR. The name for a start - now called DSLT because it is no longer actually a reflex - the mirror doesn't flip - so the operation is much quieter and the shutter far quicker to respond to a much lighter touch. There is a lot to get used to as buttons are in different places but I am sure I will get on fine with it.
I love the colour of this polyanthus - they were much later blooming than the pansies but are well away now.
